First of all, like I said, P.J. is full of shit. Second, I DARE you to go out and try to buy a 360 at a retail outlet. Since according to you there should be at least 300k laying around, I'm sure you'll have no problem, unlike the hundreds of thousands who waited outside a store on launch day but went home empty handed.

Hellstorm, I appreciate that you submitted a news item with a nice article link, but I think everyone knows that the Xbox 360 sold out nationwide on the first day.

As other posters have pointed out, there isn't a single system on a store shelf or available online anywhere and there are enough pre-orders out there to move the next 5 - 10 store replenishments before they even manage to get a few systems on the shelf.

It seems obvious from your original commentary and the message that you just posted that you are desperate to bash on the Xbox 360, but you are barking up the wrong tree here.

Hell, that doesn't even make any sence, are you saying that they opened up 300k in the store before they even let people in to buy the console, tested every one of them, found them to be defective and then sent them back to Microsoft? No one had touched the console, this was a launch, and every console on the shelves was sold, working or not.

I just received a new Serta mattress and box-spring! I got home today, sat on the toilet for 15 minutes reading Rise of Endymion when I realized something was amiss in the bathroom.
