While I enjoy giving Epic a hard time, it is great news. UT3 is a franchise that was just abandoned by Epic games on all three platforms. (I would say they 'dumped' the title on the market and just ignored it in favor of the more media friendly Gears franchise.)

I played UT3 on the PS3 and then again on the Xbox 360 and I loved it both times. I didn't even mind the campaign, I thought the cut-scenes were very well done... better than the stuff in Gears and the storyline was more coherent than the storyline in Gears or Gears 2.

I understand that the tournament style gameplay didn't lend itself to the storyline, but I was able to overlook that and just enjoy the cut-scenes.

I'm looking forward to the big patch with Steam achievements and the upcoming expansion pack. It would be great to see this franchise brought back to life.

I also agree with the Pancake Rabbit -- bring back the Tournament!
