I noticed that Paul Blart didn't win any SAG awards. Strange... Oh well, there's always the Oscars.

Be sure not to waste your money on Benjamin Button. That is 3 hours of my life I'll never get back.

I was coaxed into going to the new Underworld movie. I enjoyed the first one, tolerated the second one, had somewhat low expectations for this new one. I still walked out disappointed despite the handful of martinis I had before I went to see it ;)
Lows:
- the "Vampires" in this movie were just guys in gothic plate armour fighting wolves. One example of what I consider standard vampire action, in the entire movie. One sneaky bite to the neck .. everything else could of been taken right from Excalibur
- 90% of the movie was lit with the dark blue light, with only a few stark contrasting lights. Waaaaay too dark to see what was going on.
- I get it.. slavery is bad, even if its Monsters enslaving other Monsters.
- The couldnt get the girl's eyes right. One scene she'd have the glowing blue 'vampire' eyes, next she'd have her normal beautiful brown eyes. Considering how much time we spent looking into those eyes .. it was either shoddy film making or they were trying to hint to me about something that went right over my head.
- No Kate :(
Highs
- My blood alcohol content ( though it didn't help )
- The two male leads are decent actors and they did a good job of selling their roles
- The big black guy with The Voice.

Thank you, luckily I realized that early on and took it off my must see list.
Just yesterday, in one day, I saw:
Yes Man
Underworld
Inkheart
Underworld and Yes Man were fine. Inkheart you might want to wait for the Blu Ray.
