SO looking forward to this, it's not even funny.

Still, the game going gold NOW, and the multiplayer "BETA" only starting later this month is a little cart-before-the-horse, but whatever.

Yup, it's going to be awesome.

I'm expecting a zero day patch.

I'll pick it up eventually; but i don't think i'll be getting it day 1; i still have a lot of stuff left to do in the first Dawn of War.

Multiplayer patches and fixes for the client are usually pretty small, and they have to log online to do it anyway. So making them patch when they log in probably won't be that big of a deal when ya think about it.

I hadn't seen their posted multiplayer video before. It looks like there will be a lot of tactical conditions, like your units being under suppression fire etc.

I'm praying the patching process goes smoother with this title than the original DoW series.

Since my computer absolutely cannot handle this game yet, I'm sad that it's gold already. The good news is, that by the time I have a computer that can run it, there might already be an expansion or two out, and it will be cheaper.

Exactly. They did a great job with bundling the games with expansions so I'm gonna wait for a steam special.

I have all four original Dow games... but I am only part way through the first expansion. :p And now this is almost out... bah! I must exercise some restraint this time, so I will at least wait for the reviews (and the MP beta... downloading now from Steam).
