Anyone looking to get their hands on Burnout Paradise for your PC will be able to do so on February 6th. It will be titled Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box and contain not only all the free updates released for the 360 and PS3 to this point, but also the Party Pack which is the first premium content pack.

For those of you that already own Paradise, you'll be able to purchase the Party Pack on February 5th. Additionally on Feb 5, we're all going to get a "massive" free update which looks like it includes something that people have complained about since the game was released... restart. Whew (http://criteriongames.com/article.php?artID=383).

The Ultimate Box brings together all this free content and also includes our first premium content - Burnout Paradise Party Pack. It's an unbeatable package for new players and also for all you players without an online-enabled console.

For existing Burnout fans, the big news today is that we can reveal that our Party Pack will be out on 5th Feb. This is our first premium pack. It'll be available to buy from the PlayStation Store or our own sparkling new in-game Burnout store.

And finally, for all those of you that aren't ready to part with your hard-earned cash just yet, comes the great news that on the 5th Feb, we'll be giving Burnout Paradise yet another barrage of FREE improvements, with a massive free update.

We'll bring you full details over the coming days, but this overhaul to the game includes the introduction of our all-new in-game website and awesome in-game store. We've also worked on changes to game modes, visuals, the entire vehicle dynamics system. Oh, and we've added a restart !

Even though you really don't need a restart button, at least now everyone can stop bitching that it isn't there.

I've been waiting for this announcement for a very, very long time.

It'll probably be available on STEAM as well. I love PC gaming right now.

Very cool, can't wait to see this cranked up on the PC with some AA. Day 1 purchase for me.

How many updates have their been on Xbox Live? I installed mine about two months ago and I know I got a bikes update, but I could not tell how many others there were.

A Restart button? Finally.

Now add more than 3 types of events, and give us back the Crash mode and maybe I will un-dust my Burnout Paradise DVD.

The restart button thing has totally been blown out of proportion. This is more of a "driving" game than a "racing" game. I used to be mad if I'd lose a race and couldn't redo it, but about 10 seconds later I was on to something else or driving towards another event. I'm one of those people that could just get on the game and drive around catching the sites at 180MPH.

I wonder how the updates will work. Are they going to be able to let you get the island pack without previously purchasing the others? I mean I'm definately buying the new cars and the island but am not interested in the party pack.

If you're a masochist you don't.

I'll probably pick it up! Is this Ultimate edition exclusive to PC?

Will this drag me away from my much Beloved Test Drive Unlimited? Can it beat the handling? The Physics? The Kick ass online mode?

It just contains all the *FREE* updates the original version has had; + the one "pay" update that hasn't been released yet. You can get the same thing for 360/PS3 for close to $25 total including the pay update.

I pray their engine holds up on PC. GRID was a fantastic PC port. Its probably the most impressive game my machine has ever run. Surely, these guys can match it, given how amazing their engine is on the consoles of this and last gen.

Burnout Paradise is the best bang for your buck of this console generation. The Orange Box comes close, but Criterion has outdone themselves with the amount of free content theyve delivered. Good on ya sirs!

Isn't 'showtime' where you press LB and RB a mimmicry of 'crash mode' ?
