Man, that looked pretty d_mn sweet.
If the PS2 is kicking out hose type of graphics, then there really is no reason to upgrade your system just yet. I would however like to see it in motion. But hot d_mn!!

Potentially the most naturalistic looking game screen I have ever seen.

Wow. That dude really looks like Sutherland.

It'd be great if this had the gameplay of RE4 (or graphics on par) and the open-ended play of GTA.

I hope this entire thread is made of nothing but sarcasm.

I hope they have cell phones that work in thick concrete bunkers and never run out of battery power. Oh, and I hope you are able to cross LA or DC during rush hour in only 3 minutes. You have to stay true to the show you know.

I watched 24 for the first time last season, saw the entire thing, and all I can say is... meh. It seemed like the writers struggled each week to figure out how they can make the good guys so inept that they let the bad guys escape every episode so they can drag the story out. But then, maybe that is just TV writing and a reminder as to why I don't watch it much.

Wow, just wow. Your are insulting one of the only good shows on Television. If you thought about it, before you made generalizations. There was never a time where they were in a thick concrete bunker, with the exception of the Presidents bomb shelter, which I am sure would have an amplifier let alone their own cellular tower. I don't recall any DC travel in season 4, and most of the LA travel was done by Chopper. What was done by car was done in the off hours. Now I am not saying the show doesn't have inconsistencies, but if you are going to let something like cell phones and traffic times remove you from immersion.... You better stay away from the TV completely, might as well skip the movies as well, and don't touch the video games, because those are not like real life either.

What you call inept is the writers trying to create suspense. Let’s look at one of those ineptitudes.

They capture a suspect, they only have a limited amount of time to find the person responsible for a nuclear attack, and this suspect is their only lead. The president won't decide on interrogation because he is worried about his political future over the future of the lives of millions of Americans. So Bauer takes it upon himself to get the information they need. They plan a strategic attack on the responsible persons position, the president finds out they tortured the suspect and orders Bauer's immediate arrest. Jack's team sneaks in to the building using video surveillance through the air ducts to identify their target, and just before they rush in, the Secret service shows up an spoils it all.

How is that bad writing? It has everything good that you can see on Television, action, suspense, a touch of political commentary. I just can't believe you would make that statement.

Interest in 24 show - high.

Interest in this game - ZERO.

It's made by Sony Cambridge. That's automatic shit.

Sure, the screens look nice (Erm... some of them, anyway). It might even sound promising on paper.

But with horrible games like Primal, Ghosthunter, MediEvil: Resurrection and C-12 Final Resistance in their portfolio, I can smell the stench of bad software miles away. Doesn't matter anyway, because it'll sell thanks to the 24 name. Sony probably made a good investment, and then handed it over to their worst studio.

Too bad these screens are all like months old :)

The game is rather fun though, surprisingly...

Does it take 24 hours to play? heh

Actually, I always thought that would kind of be a cool idea. Instead of being a by the numbers action game with a pretty face, have the established crux of time and make it so A) you have to play it in a 24 hour stint to get the full effect B) have 24 hours of gameplay to the second or C) have different things happen depending on the time of the day. Admittedly, this would narrow the interest in the game, but taking a risk like that and shaking things up would be both innovative and in keeping with the real time aspect of the source material.

But thats just my idea...

I hope you don't play Japanese RPGs. Or pretty much any Japanese game for that matter.

Genuinely no. It looked strikingly real.
