While not all of the songs are there quite yet, owners of the Nintendo Wii version of Rock Band 2 are now able to hit up the Music Store and start purchasing some hot tracks. Slowly over the coming weeks, more and more songs will become available until the offering matches what is found on the PS3 and 360.
Additionally, starting next month, the Wii will be included in the weekly song updates that PS3 and 360 owners have learned to love (and hate). GameCyte (http://www.gamecyte.com/rock-band-music-store-launches-on-wii) has the full list of tunes available.
Each individual song will cost 200 Wii points, and before purchase you’ll be able to see how many blocks each song takes up when downloaded. (Most of them take over 100.) To counter the space issues of the Wii’s memory, you can download the songs to SD cards, and even purchase “Rock Band” SD cards with songs already loaded on to them.
Nice to see the support is there.
