Gothic 2 Gold Finally Hits Stores

I'm too lazy to read the specs. are the textures being redone? what's new in this edition?

Gothic 2 Gold has Night of the Raven add-on included. Night of the Raven is can be played before you have done Gothic 2, or if you have finished Gothic 2. Basically, it adds some new content and side quests, brings in more of the story that wasn't addressed in Gothic 2, and two new guilds (so now 5) that a person can choose to join. It is also a lot harder in level of difficulty with more creatures and everything. For those new to Gothic world, I would suggest playing Gothic 2 first, and then try the add-on. For those who have played Gothic 2, the add-on does offer different ways to get into the city, join the guilds, that are easier so you don't have to do the same quests over. I am, of course, a very huge Gothic fan, so this is a must have. If you have never played Gothic, and want a great RPG, this is a game to get. And don't worry if you don't know the story from the original Gothic - they do a good job of filling you in.
