Confrontation Finally Patched, Fixes Bugs!

Lots of people who bought SOCOM Confrontation when it came out have yet to really play it well as the game has been plagued with a bunch of issues. Today however, 1.30 was released, patching the game up with Trophies, D-Pad leaning, and most importantly, bug fixes! SOCOM: Confrontation's highly-anticipated 1.30 update, which has been met with delay after delay, will finally be released on January 9th, at 5AM EST/2AM PST. Hey, that's in a couple of hours! The patch brings with it Trophies (a list of them can be viewed here), D-pad lean-in, a Quick Match/Party system, as well as key bug fixes and new features.

Hopefully you all are happy now that it works!

Because of all the massive problems, copies of the game are going for super dirt cheap on eBay.

I haven't tried it myself yet, but all signs point to the game still being an utter mess after the patch.

In the small amount of time I was playing it or at least trying to, I encountered a HARD LOCK forcing me to reboot the system, a PSN error whilst trying to enter a game at that point the game was frozen so I had to do a shutdown and reboot.

So far the patch is looking solid! Well at least its consistently FUCKED with the rest of the game. Also joining a game STILL takes FOREVER.

Makes me wonder what they really patched. Jesus all this build up and for nothing, its the equivalent of a nip slip and a very quick one where you only get to see the areola.

Maybe they patched in Gears of War 2 matchmaking technology.

It ships to Europe later this year. Hopefully this will be out-of-the-box and not a huge Day 1 update.

I really do wonder why they rushed this out for the US.
