20 and 40 man raids... just what I needed.

NOT!

Where are the 5-10 man instances??? I am tired of the grinding runs with big groups. Bring the fun back in exploring dungeons Blizzard!

There's been an equal mix of each type of dungeon added to the game since launch.

Maraudon and Dire Maul are 5 man.

Zul'Gurrub and the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj are 20 man

Blackwing Lair and the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj are 40 man.

And I don't know what you mean when you say >5-10 man runs are for "grinding." Zul'Gurrub is maybe my favorite dungeon to date, and it requires a silly amount of coordination between you and the other 19 players.

>it requires a silly amount of coordination between you and the other 19 players.

That is exactly what I am getting tired of. Ooohhh... boss fight. Do 1,2,3,4 things in sequence. Oops! F*cked up? Wipe!

>Maraudon and Dire Maul

Added when? 6+ months ago!

I want smaller instances FFS.

Yeah, I could do with a few more instances of Scarlet monestary size with a few cinematic events in them.

Once again, Priests get jack. At least the next patch (1.10?) will be the Priest patch (revamping of talent trees).

Interesting to Paladins, im not sure if its for the better or worse, but think it may make my build alittle bit better. Shame you can't post anything on the official forums due the the huge amount of Nerf!!1! posts.

I want smaller instances FFS.Fair enough, I'm just saying there's plenty of people who enjoy the 10-20 person raiding experience. Zul'Gurrub is a step in the right direction for casual players, I think, because it gives people who can't or won't step into MC or BWL a chance at getting epic loot.

1.9 was the Paladin fix, we've known this for a long time now. Priests will get love soon enough, along with mages, rogues and anyone else not redone yet.

Some highlights:
* The Gates of Ahn'Qiraj
* Linked Auction Houses
* Multiple Battlegrounds Queues
* Soul Shard Bags
* Paladin talent rework

Most interesting parts to me that you didn't mention:
* Troll racials get some... tweaks.
* Cliff walking is dead. Long live terrain exploits and tickets to the GM about unreachable herbs/mining nodes/quest objects.
* Hunter's Bestial Wrath gets a duration increase but a dps decrease overall (-7% to -16% according to latest tests).
* The Warrior talent Enrage gets a damage nerf. This seemed unneccessary to me. Mortal Strike still seems like the problem. But whatever.
* Shamans get a new air totem (-20% threat generation to party in range of totem). Seems like a huge blessing to horde raid groups with the TMFS disorder (too many fukkin' shaman, mon). Other speculation is that the shaman in the MT's party could lay this down on the MT's healing group and keep the MT out of range of the effect. Is it worth it to go without GoA though? But at least my troll will finally know what BoS is like. Kinda.
* New alchemy/engineer/enchanting/tailoring endgame patterns.
* Enchanting oils are in. Sounds like a way for enchanters to make coin without having to spam /2 all day long.
* According to some dissections of the 1.9 build up on the test servers, some higher ranks of current class abilities are now in. It's unconfirmed if these are earnable via the new Sithilus content or if they're just hooks to the expansion class levels (61-70).
* Shadow priests' highest priest dps spell (Mind Blast) now generates additional threat. I guess now the only thing a priest in a dps raid slot is good for is SW:P + Vamp. Embrace, Mind Flay, Fade (2/2 Improved, duh), 3x Mind Flay, Repeat. There's no way I'd risk MB anymore. Crit = Raid Wipe.

In other news: "Why am I a troll priest?"

I believe this is to have a horde-equivalent of the Paladin's Blessing of Whateveritwas that dropped threat generated. Which a lot of players wanted to have balanced.

Though I think that shamans still lose a bit, because the blessing was castable on a member instead of area effect.
I guess that shamans that use this totem will have to run around replacing the totem near the supporters and running back to the boss to hit them or just join the support group exclusively.

The same reason I have a gnome warrior (not main though). And as a extra, priests automagically have more friends, whatever their race.

Groups tend to stick near their shaman anyway, because of the way totems work.

What you're going to see with the new totem is a shaman placed into every mage, warlock and possibly rogue group, so that those classes can effectively do 20% more DPS without drawing aggro.

Oops. I forgot to mention the effect on the main tank, that's why I was misunderstood. The totem will have to be placed strategically so that the main tank and off-tank wouldn't be influenced by it. Good grouping might help though.

Not only did we get "Jack," we got his retarded stepbrother "Screwed" ... Mind Blast given more threat? Yippie!

However, if there's a level 40 warlock or a level 35 hunter (who wouldn't leave me alone) who were getting owned by a level 35 priest in Desolace today reading this, that was me... (:

And as a extra, priests automagically have more friends, whatever their race.
Yup, I just hit that level where no matter where I am in the world, someone's messaging me to run SM... (:

This is a huge boost to Shamans, which are generally reguarded as a PVP class. Increasing their PVE capabilities could swing the balance towards Horde in power level. Oh well, they still don't have fear ward.

Could you describe this problem for me?

I guess I'm biased because I play clothies in the bg's (my hunter is about to break 40 though).

To attempt to summarize the community concern around Mortal Strike: An epic geared warrior with enrage, a mortal strike, and one auto swing they can chew through a full health clothie without the clothie getting much of a chance to respond.

Add in the the odd crit and weapon proc (fiery enchant etc.) And we can very easily be two shotted in the space of three seconds. I have personally witnessed such a specced/equipped warrior down two mages and finish off a shaman in way less than 20 seconds.

I don't like to jump on the bandwagon with the "whiners". I can understand however the frustration of people on the receiving end of the warrior (especially clothies). I also feel for the warriors that worked extremely hard (each epic piece of gear might represent multiple 20-40 man instances runs ~4 hours per run or so) that have specced for the ability to blow through cloth wearing classes.

After I've calmed down a bit, I do like the enrage scale down a lot better.

Does that answer your question, mon?

Well, it's because of our awesome racial abilities...oh, wait...
But at least we get great racial spells...err....
Mounts? Cool mounts! Pink and.....purple...dinosaurs...
There must be some reason...ahhh...now I remember:

1). It means you're not UD
2). You have a sexy Jamaican accent (mon)
3). You don't look identical to the hordes (ehehe...sorry) of 13-year-old gankers out there (see #1)

And can I say....halitosis? =D

Interesting glitch my brother came across in the test realm. He would judge lvl6 of one of his pally seals and it would magically put him on an epic kodo mount. That strange or what?
