No Lord of the Rings Conquest PC Demo

Big Download has learned that EA has no plans to release a demo for Lord of the Rings Conquest (http://news.bigdownload.com/2009/01/06/its-official-no-pc-demo-for-lord-of-the-rings-conquest/), despite releasing such a demo for the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles. The game itself is due for release for all three platforms next week.

EA continues to ignore PC gamers in releasing demos for multiplatform titles. Mirror's Edge and Dead Space also lacked PC demos.

Oh please.
There are many people out there who will not buy a game if there is no demo.

No demo either means that the game blows, or they didn't want to pay a bit more for the devs to make a demo, instead, advertising their game on TV or 'payola' type scam with the 'review' sites...

While I enjoyed the PS3 demo, I get the feeling that the game is going to be a console to PC port, so maybe the controls aren't that great. Also makes me wonder if there's alot of problems with the PC version they don't want shown.

The opinions on the console demos make it out to be a pretty mediocre experience, so PC users probably aren't missing much.
