It was rumored a while ago that Jade Raymond's next project was survival game I Am Alive. Those rumors however have been squashed with a recent preview, indicating that the senior producer is Alexis Goddard. Additionally, the game will be played in a first persion perspective. Eurogamer (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/jade-raymond-not-doing-i-am-alive):

Ubisoft has told Eurogamer that "Jade Raymond is not involved in I Am Alive at any level" after reports based on a magazine preview.

Assassin's Creed producer Raymond was originally linked with the game prior to its E3 2008 reveal, but a new preview in gamesTM poured cold water on that.

Developed by Cold Fear outfit Darkworks, I Am Alive is a survival game set in Chicago in the aftermath of an unexplained earthquake. It's due out for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC at an undisclosed date.

I'm still intrigued about this game. Now everyone has to wonder what Jade is actually working on.

Darn, now we can't have feminist "journalists" giving her shit because she's attractive! What will they talk about, the game she's working on? How boring is that? ;)

Since "I Am Alive" is based in Chicago I'm interested. It is always fun and interesting to see games based in a place you live.

I'm still waiting for the down-to-the-street recreation of New York City. I thought maybe GTA4 would be close, but they focused only on the big areas. I wanted to drive past my in-law's apartment. :)

That will be when the whole game is streamed from the internet; could you imagine the disc size for that.

It can be put on the PC where storage is not a limitation.

True... they are supposed to be selling 2TB HDD's this year. But as far as the (proper) Next Generation of consoles goes, what will their medium of choice be? Probably all come with at least a 500GB HDD (hopefully) and no optical disk. So it's more about the delivery system they would always need HDD's.

F' Manhattan. I want the Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn... of course, even a trip to the landfill on Staten Island may be cool too :)

(not sure which Spiderman did that though)

I personally don't give a crap about what shes working on. Her contributions were never made known on Assassins Creed, and to be honest, I didn't really care for Assassins creed. That game seemed like the developers had a giant list of things to accomplish, such as incredible graphics, animation system, etc, but making an actual video game was way at the bottom of the list.

I also don't care for the implication that because shes an attractive woman, that what shes doing is of prime importance. Shes not a game designer, shes a producer.

I liked AC. It needed some work, but it was a solid title IMO.

Assassin's Creed had something that made me keep playing it. I got pissed off at the repetitive nature of the assassinations, particularly the time leading up to it and the "investigations" which were exactly the same over and over... but for some reason, I just needed to finish it. I didn't hit 100%, but I felt I got just about everything I could out of the game and am interested to see what they do with AC2.

Actually, the thing that bugged me were that the assassinations weren't.
Once you get to the target it was a scripted event.

Ubi should take a note from the Hitman series for AC2.
