Xbox.IGN (http://xbox.ign.com) has posted thier review (http://xbox.ign.com/articles/668/668554p1.html) of 50 Cent:Bulletproof for your viewing pleasure. They score the game at a 6.5 out of 10.

Here are the closing comments from the review...

50 Cent: Bulletproof's success will ride on the coattails of 50 Cent's popularity, but in this case, that works out perfectly. Fans of 50 Cent and his music will find it much easier to overlook the game's shortcomings and focus on its strong presentation aspects, which really are excellent for the most part. Those who aren't fans of his music and who are just looking for a solid third-person shooter will want to look elsewhere however, as the core gameplay here is nothing that hasn't been seen before and done better a million times.

I didnt read the review itself but not bad actually... its another "fans love it", "non fans hate it" games I guess.

I had a customer come in and describe this as one of the worst stereotypical "urban" games he'd ever played. He also said it was a "bad version of Dead To Rights with blacks".

Let's hope it sweeps the Spike TV Video Game Awards!

In a year or two it will be "Fifty who?"

My friend bought it, and had the opposite impression of what I expected. I assumed that the game would feature decent enough shooting, but have a really shitty layer of 'thug' on top. The friend said the only thing the game did right was the extras, as the shooting really sucked and the enemy spawning was retarded along with the fact that opening doors was nearly impossible.

So... anyone suprised that a game based on a famous person sucks?

I am holding out for the Abe Lincoln game where Abe fights the entire Southen Army who are ninjas ridding on T-Rexs, it would be kinda like Spartan : Total Warrior.

Is this counting the 4 previous years he has been famous, and rich? The man could shit in a cd case and still go platinum, he will be around for a while regardless of the fact he is a money making rapper or thug icon. I guess rap will not exist in 2-3 years, wait they said that in the eighties also.

Anyways, you want a good gangsta game, just buy gta san andreas that game perfected the gangsta feel in the 90's

Now 50's saying that, even though the game's rated M, you should not only buy it for your kids but should also use it as a "teaching tool."

Oh, but he doesn't care about the money. As long as he can help you explain the intricacies of thug life and gats, he will have done his duty for America.
