With all the hoopla over the 360 launch I thought that those of us who DID NOT get one can console ourselves with the latest issue of The Escapist (http://www.escapistmagazine.com).

Gaming is now established enough to have multiple generations of gamers, even within the same households. Children that grew up gaming are now parents, with gaming children of their own. We look at these multi-generational gaming experiences in this week's issue of The Escapist: Generation G.
The article entitled "When Gamers Breed (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/issue/20/3)" by Allan Varney gets my vote for best headline of the month. The article is pretty good, as is the case with most of The Escapist's articles.

This article needs to be read by, no, to the general public. Seriously.

Although, I must admit that the whole idea of embracing digital culture as the primary form of entertainment weirds me out a bit. But that's just personal preference.

For me, it still ain't right to see a father games the same amount of time like his children. Unless he's living through lottery or will money, he should work his ass off to make a good living for his kids and keep his kids' gaming in check with their study time.

So the theme of this week's Escapist is "bumping the uglies" huh?

My mom used to wake my brother and me up on our summer vaction so she could play the original Age of Empires with us. I don't think she had any positive motives like in the article though, she just liked her balista towers.

Every person must strive to be the best person they can be every day through the use of motivation and discipline. But guys like you are nazis and have no right to tell other people what is good or bad. How about you come over to my house while me and my 4year old daughter take turns slapping you?
