Capcom says "No more Breath of Fire"

According to Capcom:

"There are currently no plans on making a new Breath of Fire game. Apart from that, regarding RPG titles, they are very popular in Japan, but only certain RPG titles sell so Capcom doesn't really need to even consider making these titles as an option."

So you'd rather make generic, forgettable, wanna-be-western shooters like Lost Planet?

These days, it seems like unless you have a midnight launch and sell a million on the first day, the game isn't successful.

Proabaly for the best. The quality of the games went downhill from III to IV to V and the sales followed.

It came out about 2 years ago, it was titled. "Breath of Fire III", and it was on the PSP.

Anything on the Capcom Engine will play and look nice so its a shame they arnt releasing another Breath of Fire :(

Although I didn't entirely enjoy the re-use of almost everything in the first three games, I entirely loved III.

So we'll be seeing a new Breath of Fire released on the Xbox 360 in November 09 then I take it.
