Dagger Games Announce "Hazen"

We are pleased to announce our next game – Hazen is an episodic Action/RPG The first episode is named "The Dark Whispers" and will bring some freshness in the world of Hack'n Slash Games. Every single episode will be a "Stand alone" game with enough game-play and high re-play value. Stay tuned in next weeks for more information around "The Dark Whispers" and the news inside the world of Hazen. You can also review some of the first screenshots from the game or official Hazen web site at : http://hazen.daggergames.com/

Q: What «Episodically Hack'Slash» means?
A: Hazen is split on four different Episodes. Every single of them will be a standalone game, so you don't need to have Episode 1 for instance to play the second one. However collecting all the parts will lead you to new challenges and secret places with great rewards and interesting quest to solve. You will also have the opportunity to unlock some special events and go through the entire world.

The ideas, artwork, and screens seem pretty interesting, go check this out!

Could be good! But its almost impossible for me to play a game without achievements anymore, and my collection of unplayed games is too vast.

Still this looks compelling enough for me to downlaod if I remember to do so when its actually available for download!

Episodic bullshit needs to DIE.

Ah, glorious American culture in action, instant gratification only.

This does look cool, and I really think that hack'n'slash is a type of gameplay that would work rather well episodically.

Any word on multiplayer? I don't see it mentioned on the site at all, so I suppose that's unlikely.

Their ingame shots look decent enough.

If the marketing text is anything to go by, don't bet on a good story: mangled English all the way. Witcher-itis?

... if by good you mean better then eating an elephant poo, I disagree.

Also, although their game looks cool, their website is a fucking mess. Doesn't work in Opera.
