For those of you lucky enough to have an Xbox 360 early (or who will get one later tonight), be sure to check out Xbox.com (http://www.xbox.com) for all the new Xbox Live enabled features.
You can check out My Profile (http://live.xbox.com/member/Raptor Blue), which will show you a list of the games I have recently played as well as any Achievements I have accomplished or you can just hit the glowing X on your game controller (even during a game) to see your Xbox Live friends list and what they are doing right now.
When bapenguin check it just now it said, I was playing CoD2 and was West of Moscow, USSR, and for long time reader Perigon it said, Playing Kameo and exploring Lobster Hollow.
Dude! Sweet! And Sony isn't planning anything like this for the Playstation 3? Move into the 2000's!

This is one of the new little features in Live that really has me excited about the 360. Even though none of the launch titles are going to blow you away in terms of graphics I think that thenew live features are where the true "next gen" experiance is at.

To be fair, though, the launch titles aren't bad. Call of Duty 2 is pretty amazing and Condemned: Criminal Origins looks like a high resolution PC title even on my little 15" TV. (I haven't played much else yet, I was messing around with Halo 2 a lot last night.)
I'm looking forward to seeing Quake 4 and King Kong.

Following up on my earlier post (basically saying that I like the fact that J Allard actually plays games), here's his profile off of Xbox.com. Looks like he's playing Geometry Wars now.

Take it for what it's worth.

Yeah the HD support seems to help alot, I played the COD demo at CompUSA a few weeks ago and was very surprised that it looked almost exactly like it did on my PC with all the graphics settings maxed out. Still, many of the launch titles appear to be just fairly graphically enhanced rather than enormously graphically superior.

Like you, I dig the fact that almost all of the Xbox staff are gamers, including the head guy. I think it's why they have so many services that cater specifically to gamers from a personal level rather than trying to figure out what gamers want from a marketing level. It’s stuff they want so they put it in.

Ya, I love the new XBOX.com, I've started putting my Gamercard link in all my sigs.
This is a trick I picked up on the PA forums:

Well... it works there anyhow <.< I'm guessing we've disabled images?
