Rare put out an update that'll fix the one complaint I've had so far with Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. You can now go into the game settings and click a checkbox that reads "Large Dialog Text" and boom, your text will be larger! This is not only helpful for SDTV users (which the patch is aimed at), but HDTV users as well.
Thanks Xbox360Fanboy (http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2008/12/20/rare-releases-text-enlarging-nuts-and-bolts-update/)!

Is it just me, or have they changed the font too? It seems easier to read now even without the larger text option switched on...

Its completely possible! I'll check it out later... one of the main reasons I didnt put more time in was because I was waiting for this update... now that it's here... hooray!

Unfortunately, I don't see it selling too well. Even though its value priced (and you could get it for REALLY cheap at Amazon for about 2 weeks), many 'hardcore' gamers wouldn't be caught dead with it because its lighthearted and somewhat childish... on the outside. Truth be told, if folks would give it the some time, they'd love it. Just like Viva Pinata... its bound to be loved by a small set of people and not achieve love from the community.

I tried play Dead Rising and I stopped playing because I could barely, if ever, read the text.

I gave up on Dead Rising for this same issue.
By the time I had an HDTV, I had no interest to go back to Dead Rising.
Also is this game worth buying? I hear it really isn't too platform heavy and that concerns me for a platforming franchise.

I don't see how games get released with these small, hard to read text issues. Dead Rising was even hard to read on my HDTV.
