So not only do we get Sacred 2 on 360 as well as Two Worlds: The Temptation in 2009, but we are also getting Divinity II: Ego Draconis, the sequel to the fantastic Divine Divinity on PC and 360.

I for one am glad that someone still knows how to make an excellent Western RPG. I'm looking forward to all of these. Nowadays, Europe is where all the action is. With the death of Ultima, Might & Magic, Wizardry, and all the other classic US franchises, all we have left is Elder Scrolls and whatever BioWare dishes out (and they're Canadian). We all know Elder Scrolls V will be just like Oblivion, and I don't hold much hope out for Dragon Age being that much different from NWN. In fact it reminded me of Oblivion with a cool toolkit at PAX.

Bethesda and BioWare need a serious kick in the pants.... hopefully these European devs show them how it's done.

But we're excited about a Two Worlds sequel? I know it sold well but come on...

Let's not forget The Witcher port. I really wanted to play the game and have actually physically (maybe) prayed for a port I'd enjoy playing. Yay!

Good point lost... The Witcher port!! Another fine example!

And yes, I am extremely excited about a Two Worlds sequel. I think it is better than Oblivion, and I put 200 hours into Oblivion. The thing about Two Worlds is that it looks bad on your first impression, but you later realize it is just outstanding.

I thought Two Worlds was really buggy?
As a matter of fact, wasn't there a thread here saying the whole game was terrible?

I remember the thread because I wanted to buy the game and people scared me off it.

I thought the Two Worlds demo seemed okay. It struck me as a sort of single player methodone for recovering WoW addicts.

But then methodone is shit heroine so Two Worlds still doesn't come across very well.

I really want SouthPeak to release quality games. I really do.

Alright, as someone who originally though Two Worlds was a piece of crap based on the demo, and as someone who has played all types of classic RPGs since 1987, let me tell you right now: Two Worlds is absolutely FANTASTIC and now bug free. It's an amazing game that somehow manages to pull off a horrible first impression. Give it 2 hours and you'll be hooked. Give it 5 hours and you''l think it better than Oblivion. Give it 10 or more, and it will become your favorite 360 RPG.

Then again, I also thought Enchanted Arms was an incredible RPG. So my RPG opinion deviates from the general public.

"Forsooth! I need taint!" :p

In all seriousness, I played the hell out of this on the PC. The game had some issues, a few quirks (your sister = only female in the land), and was ripped on by a lot of people; and yet I probably put 50 hours into it. I remember bad dialogue, awesome loot and a very large gameworld that was both geographically diverse and sorta empty. Love it or hate it, but I'll be checking out what's next. Games are one of the few mediums were the sequels are usually better then the original.

I haven't played two worlds, but it did seem to very loot-centric gameplay.

I think there are two camps of RPG players. Loot centric players and non loot centric players. Diablo fans and MMORPG fans are the loot centric types.

I think I'm firmly in the non loot centric camp.

Doesn't sell me on trying out two worlds again. If you're going to play a game by yourself it has to offer great game play and two worlds gave me none of that. The combat didn't seem altogether interesting at all. Sacred 2 I might give a chance if it is more than just cast a few spells type game play. The fun of game play is the complication and finding what combinations work great and what can or must be done when certain things happen.

I like loot as much as the next diablo player but if i'm playing alone the dialogue, the quest, the characters have to stand on their own with no help from my imagination. That's the way single player games should be. That's how they are made now and earn their top rating and earn my spare time. When it's single player the story and the world are more important than how powerful your character can become always.

Wow, you guys really don't understand the intracaies of the Two Worlds item, trap, and skill system. But that's OK. True works of genius are seldom appreciated by the masses.

I guess you never visited Ashos or Cathalon which had tons of women. You even got quests from women.

People thought Two Worlds was actually good? I played through it co-op and my friend and I sold our copies after two days of playing. The weapons were pretty cool, but most everything else needed a ton more work.

They overhauled it with a patch, pretty playable and even pretty fun now, if you can get past the Xbox1 graphics and terrible voice acting.

I like how you skipped over the presentation, the voice acting, the terrible writing and the more or less shit story. That's right, you may have won a fight but in the end you lost the war. I could go on about the graphics but that would be like trying to make fun of a retarded baby for his or her birth defect. It's obvious for all to see.

Wow, anyone claiming to have actually enjoyed Two Worlds must be desperately trying to justify the fact they actually spent money on it. It's a bad game on release and and a below average game after patch. There is a horde of excellent western rpgs that not only stand head and shoulders above Southpeak's effort but look down on it with a disapproving sneer.

I got a promotional copy that was given by a rep who said, "We're not trying to be like Oblivion, but..." They even handed over a strategy guide, almost knowing there would be a point where i'd want to put down my pad in frustration. Honestly, even they knew it was bad.
