Ha! It's kind of funny how much it still looks/feels like KotOR. :^) That's not a bad thing.

No not at all, although I think they are definitely a bit more..."Cartoony", for lack of a better adjective. Not sure if I like that take on it yet. Now all they need are Health, Action, and Mind bars... =)

Considering Bioware's past I don't think they will screw this up.

After seeing the video I am really excited now.

I am not yet sold on the cartoonyness of it. I am still hopefull. Too bad we won't be playing it for a year or two.

Dragon's Age, and this both look like steps backwards from Mass Effect.

The cartooniness is good in my opinion because this means the system specs will be respectable. That is part of the reason Wow is so successful. My rig still rocks Wow, but it didnt like WAR very much. There is something to be said for aiming for the middle ground.

I know it's still waaaaaay too early, but I don't like the style at all. Something about it that just makes me lose interest, but of course I'll be picking it up cause I'm a sucker for co-op based PvE MMOs.

I love how they said they want stylized visuals, instead of realism to stay unique, but it looks more like they are trying to visually compare with WoW landscapes. I am pleased that the characters look more realistic though. I don't mind a more stylized landscape, but your characters and the mobs should look realistic. I want to feel like I'm actually staring at a real thing.

Anyway, there is one thing this video didn't really get at. Is every character a Jedi? Companion characters are cool and all, and I'm sure everyone wants to have a Jedi character, but... Will *everyone* have to be a Jedi?

I'm sure the game will be fine, but I'm just not interested.

I love the look of the game. It's not over-the-top cartoony, but it still has an artistic style.

I will agree to Dragon Age... but I'm not sure that this is a step back. BioWare's always been about story and choice, and this game seems to be very much in that vein. Also, to be fair to Dragon Age, and just CRPGs in general, they don't all need to move in the same way. Nowhutimsayin?

Bioware always makes a quality product. But i hope there are more proffessions than just Jedi. I hated that you couldnt be a Jedi in SWG but I still want some variety. Playable droids would be awesome.
