As long as it's a new game and not Hitman: Contracts.

Considering that the series really hasn't taken any progressive steps since the first (admittedly very original,) game came out, I'm not holding my breathe. I panted in anticipation of Hitman 2, was interseting in Contracts, and now I've just had it with Io. If they make a good game, I'll play it. But right now, they have no entitlement to my trust and/or excitement.

Please be good! Hitman is not only one of the most interesting concepts in all of gaming, it has some of the most potential. I hope they build on what they created in Hitman 2 and take it to the next level. 47 is a great vessel.

I'm sorry but Hitman 2, was a big step up from Hitman.

I looks good, I just hope they loose the ragdoll physics (or for that matter they could just crank it down instead), I remember from Hitman 2 (didn't play Contracts alot, cos it sucked) when I shot a guard in the head with a baller and he flew like 50 feet off the ground and into the air. Now that's realism.

Any mirrors for the trailer? IGN's video downloads seem to be overloaded at the moment.
skribb, cranking down the physics would be far better than removing them entirely. Hitman 2 was among the first games to have ragdoll physics and they were simply badly tweaked, ragdoll physics nowadays are usually much more subtle.

Such as BF2's ragdoll physics. I remember in the first Hitman game, going into the Chinese restaurant/fortress mission. There's a room with steps leading to the roof. Me and friends used to run there, and lure guards to the door at the top of the steps, and then we'd see who could launch the enemy the farthest. Desert Eagle + Sawn off always won :P

Yeah, the ragdoll was toned down in contracts. Which I think is a good game despite what others say.

We need more games like Hitman. Golgo 13 or a Friday the 13th simulator. (When I played Hitman 2) The first levels got real ugly until I figured out how to be a silent assassin. Tom Savini would have been proud.

I got to talk to a couple of the dev at E3 this year, the game looked really promising and a definate step forward.
There appeared to be more levels with innocent NPCs (the best type, since it doesn't mean every body suddenly turns against you when thigns go wrong), and the cash system was re-introduced but implemented in a more sensibe way.
Can't wait, I'm a big fan of the series, but imo it has gone a bit stale (going from 1 to 3).
