Earlier today (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7171) Namco announced that it is bringing Katamari to the PSP, while EA Europe revealed it has signed a publishing deal with Namco to bring Me and My Katamari overseas, both have it scheduled for 2006.

Taking a break from celestial construction, the King of All Cosmos takes the royal family on vacation to a tropical island paradise, where they become tasked with the responsibility of creating new katamari islands for homeless animals. An epic undertaking of this time, earthly proportions, the King calls upon his pint-sized son, the Prince, and all of his cousins for help.

Dear lord, every time I visit WorthPlaying the website keeps reloading and refreshing forever. It must have something to do with the adserver system. I can't stand it.

I'm sure the screenshots are nice, though.

Just imagine the PS2 version, only... wait, no, that's it. Just imagine the PS2 version.

Looks good. I hope they don't run Katamari into the ground though. But then again, I don't have to buy it if I don't want it, heh.

I heard it controls horribly, which would make sense, considering that the Katamari would be controlled via the analog nub and the face buttons.

Glad someone translated the name into something that made sense.
'My My Katamari' was always such a quick and dirty literal translation.
