It looks kinda great. I'm not completely blown away, but that will probably change if they release a gameplay movie. I think they went a bit overboard on the brown color though, but hopefully its better in the woods. Oblivion has a more colorful style, but perhaps Gothic3 will seem more immersive and medieval when actually playing it. I'll wait and see

This team is really talented and I'm sure they will create an even better game than Gothic2. If that is the case I will take a vacation and lock the door for a month.

It looks specialtastic if you ask me!

Won't buy it but it does look really good. The lots of brown is alright, it's a pretty common colour when everything made of wood after all.

I didn't play the first two Gothics, mainly because I heard the interface was terrible. Is the whole dino-theme prevalent in the whole series, or is it just for part 3?

The gothic series has never been known for amazing graphics- though these look decent, better than EQII that's for sure. I am just hoping the game is as open ended and free-willed as it's predecessors.

One thing to take note is that there does not seem to be normal mapping or shadows inplemented yet. If you look at the monster models etc..
