I got a chance to finish up Gears of War 2 finally. Thought it was a bit easier than Gears 1 on Hardcore for my first play though. At that point though, instead of playing more games, I finished up the episodes of Entourage I had missed from this season. Am I the only one who thought this season was a bit weak comparatively?
I had hoped to get some Nuts and Bolts and Fallout 3 time in, but failed to do so.

Gears of War 2:
Execution for an hour and a half before I was ready to throw my controller through the TV
Switched to Horde and got to wave 40 before my partners bailed (ANYONE doing Horde, please invite me! I'm down for any difficulty any time I'm on. Even if I'm in another game I'm just waiting for some GOW2 to go down :D )

Tomb Raider Underworld from start to finish. It felt so much like Sands of Time that I must have hit the left trigger 100 times while falling, expecting time to reverse.
I just bought the HD, so this was the first game I've played in 1080p. Wetsuit FTW!

Gears of War 2: Finished Insane, then started a co-op game of the original Gears just for kicks.

I ended up playing Fallout 3, Left 4 Dead, Company of Heroes and Frontlines: Fuel of War.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun I'm having playing single-player Frontlines: Fuel of War. It has non-linear mission objective based gameplay. It feels more like a polished single player game than the bot match style play you get in games like Quake Wars, UT3 and Battlefield 2. It's no CoD4 or Crysis, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and a little Sonic Chronicles of the Dark Brotherhood. Oh, I also installed MAss Effect for the PC, but did not have time to fire it up, but we did start Eternal Darkness on the gamecube.

Mostly my new obsession: Two Worlds. Who knew that a game that on the surface seemed so bad could actually be so awesome?

It WOULD have been Fallout 3 if I hand't run into game killing bugs that made be shelve it until they patch it. But still, Two Worlds.... nothing beats setting a trap for a Cyclops that kills you in one blow, and having it kill it in one shot, dealing 56,000 points of damage.

Some Diablo II with the girlfriend. Then an even mixture of SSF2THDR, Left 4 Dead, Mirror's Edge and GeoW2.
Any news on a console patch for Fallout 3? I'm waiting until they fix a bunch of the bugs I've heard about until I pick it up.

Gears of War 2, Madden, Fable II, COD:WaW and just a little of Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway. A 360 Thanksgiving weekend for me!
Beat Gears of War 2 on Hardcore last night and finished up the main quest in Fable 2 on Saturday.
Gears was pretty awesome except that it felt like a bad version of Panzer Dragon at the end.
Fable 2 was quite fun and I even had enough gold to buy the castle at the end.
Also picked up L4D for the 360 and tried it out for a bit.

Lots of Valkyria Chronicles. (Beat the game) Now I think, I'm going to see if I can beat some of the missions with just one class. Like all snipers, or all lancers or something. (If you have a ps3 and haven't tried the demo yet, then you suck.)
Also did some Resistance 2 multiplayer as well, played some Age of Booty and The Last Guy, and a bit of Titan's Quest. It was a great weekend.

I managed to start and finish Quantum of Solace in one sitting and then played a little bit of NFL Head Coach 2009. Also a little bit of Rock Band 2.
i have been in a weird gaming funk, so hopefully Far Cry 2, Gears 2, and Puzzle Quest on the DS will help me out of it.

I spent the gaming time this weekend playing Last Remnant and Mass Effect. I am really enjoying LR. I have to give some of the credit to the NXE update. Installing it to the Hard Drive cut the load times by 2/3rds which really helped keep the game moving.

Finished up Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. Really hope they make that a long IP. Anyone know if Naughty Dog is making sequels??

I also tooled around a little with my recently reactivated WoW account, but not really all that much. My wife wants me to start playing again, because she's never stopped and it's something we can play together. Although I have to admit, she's a respectable zombie slayer.

Fable II. I was incredibly disappointed when I had to take the ship out to Spoiler McSpoiler land thinking that I was near the end of the game. Thankfully that was not the case and I'm still plugging away at it. I really like the game despite its many...many...flaws.
I keep saying I'll get to my giant backlog of stuff, but I just can't manage the time. Sad boosh.

I got a little time to play Valkyria Chronicles, as well as some Lego Batman. I finally got Linger in Darkness from PSN, too, but I'm not sure if that qualifies as "playing" a game.

Picked up Ratchet and Clank and Dead Space for PS3 since I found them for $30 each. Didn't get too far into either because of all the football.

My 360 decided it was time to finally die this holiday weekend, so I've dug out some older games that I've been thinking about. Planescape: Torment is every bit as good as I remember it; and news of a console Witcher rekindled my interest in finishing it. I found Rogue Galaxy at Walmart for 15 bucks, which my serve my console needs until my repaired/replaced 360 returns to me (soon, hopefully).

Maybe one week I'll crack open Left 4 Dead and give it a spin...if I can stop playing COD for a minute...

You should really install Left 4 Dead. It's the best thing that has happened for COOP gaming. And it's alot more fun than COD: WaW, even though that's good too.

About 7-8 hours of Banjo: Nuts & Bolts. Haven't tried out the multiplayer yet, but the single player is really addictive once you get past the long introduction and get some more vehicle parts to play with. Looks like this will keep me busy for a while.
Then I sat and watched the wife play Kingdom For Keflings for an hour or two. It's not really my kind of game, but she loves it.

Fallout 3
While I could have continued exploring the Wastelands for many more hours (I got the Explorer perk, so they were now all viewable on my World Map), I decided to go ahead and finish up the main quest, which I did.
What a great game.
As I said, I could have kept playing, as there were many, MANY places I hadn't visited or explored (and I'd "discovered" over 100 locations), but I'd already put approximately 90 hours into that one game, and I wanted to go ahead and "finish" it before I got my home internet connection back, because I know that doing so will cut into time with Fallout 3.
