Maybe because Gimp has about a billion more advanced features and is free. Seriously, they might as well call this thing Baby's First Web-Comic Creator.

I think the idea is that it is easier to use than Gimp or any of a zillion other photo programs.

I always get a corrupt download of this thing. Is it just me?

It is like 116 MB. The download stopped on me after only about 4 MB the first time, but downloaded just fine the second time.

thanks for the tip on gimp, now i can avoid buying photoshop to create anything commercial..

i dont see any easy comic walkthrough for it.. i think thats what this program is for..
