Since the best part of the 3D Castlevania games is the music, I thought everyone may be interested in a free CD of music from Castlevania: Curse of Darkness.

You still have to pay for shipping, but if you pick up a few other things you need anyway, this CD is a nice bonus.

I think if you preordered the game you got the soundtrack for free as well. I didn't preorder it though so thanks for the heads up.

Now if only the game didn't suck.

I think you put the wrong link there, buddy.

Hmm, is it worth $4?

They came in at my work as preorder bonuses. Be careful, though. The soundtrack made me want to fight vampires so musch that I almost broke a lamp.

I played the demo. That was more than enough. In fact, I lament the 5 minutes it took to play the game. The gameplay was trite and the graphics were crap-tastic.

It looked like it belonged on a PS2.

LMFAO, that is EXACTLY what I thought. It seemed like someone designed this for the PS1, when they were still trying to figure out what to do with this new fangled "3D" thing.

I actually played the full version of the game and it actually is quite good. It gets much deeper with more time. It's not as good as the 2-D stuff (Dawn of Sorrw OMG!!!) but the combat is deep and the story (for an action game) is interesting and well-done Castlevania lore. The graphics are average and the level design isn't great (it beats Lament of Innocence's lame "hub station" though). Good solid game. Just not up to SotN. But then again, not very many games are.

And yes the soundtrack is good and worth $4 bucks. Hell, if you don't like you could easily sell at a pawnshop or something for more than that. Maybe it'll be a collectors item?

Twigz 'N' Berries, umm...the game is designed to look like it belonged on the PS2 because it is a PS2 game. But if you are talking about the Xbox version, I can sympathize with you, I thought the Xbox version would look much better but it doesn't.
