Sssh.

I also read that the SF2 tribute table for Pinball FX (200 points) was out Dec 10th - then I saw it available for download. If anyone is interested in capturing such an animal - 2 weeks early - I'd get on there and DL it right now before someone figures it out and yanks it down.

I downloaded this last night for the PS3. Growing up on SFII in the arcades and the SNES, I was really looking forward to the Remix. After playing for quite a while the graphics, music, controls are all top notch. Playing online against others in tournament mode or one-on-one was flawless - no slowdown or lack of response.

This was really done quite well - definitely a nice way to freshen up on the franchise before SFIV in February.

Thats what I'm hoping for, although I'm getting it for the 360 instead. Too bad the D-pad on the 360 isn't good at all.

Has anyone got the new 360 pad with improved d-pad control, is it any better? I loved the old street fighters so will at least try the demo tonight.

That one pissed me off. The difficulty level, even at the easiest setting, was impossible. I'm bad, but I'm not THAT bad.

Grrr.

I played a few games of the new version today, and it was good but I forgot how much I can't stand the 360 controller for single plane fighting games. I'm really going to need to get a stick if I want play this with any legitimacy. Yes, you've got 6 attack buttons, but the shoulder bumpers aren't really a good alternative to the missing face buttons.

Downloaded this for the PS3 thinking "It's nothing new, why am I paying for this?" I take it all back. Playing online? WOW. BE STILL MY HEART... I played about 10 online matches, virtually lagless. And I've NEVER experienced that with ANY online fighter. This is great.
