...And it keeps on rolling with a Steam (http://store.steampowered.com/app/19980/)powered engine. If you preorder the newly added Prince of Persia, you'll get a free copy of Sands of Time.
Prince of Persia - Now Available For Pre-Purchase
The upcoming Prince of Persia is now available for pre-purchase via Steam in North, Central, and South America. Pre-purchase now and get Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time for free right now!
For the best deal, pick up the Prince of Persia Pack and get all four of the Prince of Persia games for one low price. But hurry, you'll want all the time you can get to play through Sands of Time, The Two Thrones, and Warrior Within before Prince of Persia releases on December 10th.
on one hand, I already own Sands of Time, Warrior Within and The Two thrones.
I've also heard that the 3 prequel games were pretty substandard PC ports. I don't know if this has been fixed since then.
On the other hand, I loved the majority of these games and the package deal is only $5 more than buying the game for a 360/PS3. Choices choices.

If only it was available in Europe, I would be all over this one :( Looks like yet another game I have to skip.
Also, will it have the vicious 5-install DRM that Far Cry 2 had?

Steam does not suffer from this problem, as far as I know.

Sands of Time was best on PC. I beat it with keyboard and mouse, as well as gamepad. No issues. The other two games had a lot of problems though.

I went ahead and got the pack, mostly because I never finished Warrior Within, but also because Sands Of Time was just awesome and has one of the best endings for a game that I can remember. The Two Thrones was also good, except for the chariot racing and a few of the tedious puzzles.
Glad I picked up Warrior Within, though. It's certainly nothing on par with Sands but it's still pretty fun once I got over stupid emo goth heavy metal X-TREME!!! Prince. I just pretend that it has nothing to do with the first game and that the cut scenes or "plot" that keep trying to convince me that it [i]is[/is] in fact trying to be a sequel are just some kind of hallucination that emogothprince is having because somebody slipped some PCP into his Mountain Dew X-TREME!!! at the Evanescence concert.

Shit, I need to get rid of my old R40 in favor of a laptop I can actually play some games on.
That being said, this is an excellent deal; Sands of Time was (and still is) one of my favorite adventure games of the last-gen consoles ( I still curse myself for never playing the two following games.)

Even though this is the kind of game I wouldn't want to play on PC (and will thusly buy on 360), this is an excellent deal.

I love PoP, been playing it since the first one on my old IBM :) Just this weekend I loaded up the the XBLIVE version and ran through a few missions. I think Sands of Time was the best adaptation so far since the original PoP 1 and 2 (especially PoP 1 for the mac with updated graphics, the only reason I ever envied my friend's Apple).

Both Warhead and STALKER Clear Sky suffer from this, which - in the light of how Steam works, is fucking BULLSHIT.
