TOCA Race Driver 3 Demo

In TOCA Race Driver 3 players will be competing in a massive variety of the world's most aggressive motorsports, complete with explosive damage effects, head-to-head online multiplayer racing and a game engine rebuilt for a greater degree of simulation.

Codemasters has released a demo allowing you to try out the Honda Civic 2006 on the Donington GP circuit in qualifications and three-lap races.

you can also run with more than just 3 laps :)

I've managed a 1.46 around donny now, although the AI is a little too easy to beat, even on 95% so I'll give it a go on the higher levels.

Does anyone know if the demo cointains the vicious malware/virus known as Starforce? There has been previous released demos that did have Starforce in it, and if this one does, I will not touch it with a 10 ft. pole.

I can't even get it to run. It says it's missing a Direct X file. I have neither the time nor the inclination to hunt down one dll just for one demo. I have reinstalled several times and it doesn't help.

I'll probably try the Xbox demo when it comes out, anyway.

No it doesn't use the oh so scary starforce *sniggers* seriously it doesn't. And yeah about that direct x problem, my mate had the same problem something about D3DDX9 DLL, I told him to reinstall DX9C, he eventually got it working, I think a friend just sent him the file.

But someone didn't test the demo correctly ;) you can select another championship causing a dreaded Malloc error and a nice big crash. Tsk Tsk codemasters, must try harder
