Even if you're a bit of a Scrooge and value your cash more than your loved ones, you'll still find it irresistable to pick this one up; Valve have now included Left 4 Dead in the Valve Total Pack on Steam- without raising the price! What this means is that you will get 22 games for the sum of $99! If you already got HL/HL2 etc. already, you get an extra copy to give to a friend.

Apparently I have an extra copy of HL2 to gift. If anyone has steam, and would play it, I'd like to give it to someone. Whomever replies first to my post can have it. Please don't reply unless you're actually going to make use of it.

Yeah, I don't get the hate for Steam that some people had. It was terrible, then they improved it. A lot. Get over it.

I still have trouble with Source games crashing occasionally (and that damn stutter bug), but hey, I don't hate it.

This might sound like a stupid, stupid question, but I have to ask. If you've bought the Total Pack in the past (no, I haven't. Despite my liking for Steam, I prefer my software with boxes. I don't know why, I just do.) does it include L4D as well? I wouldn't think so, but...

No it doesn't lightguard. Reason is, the people that bought Valve Total Pack when HL2 was released and they released everything on Steam, don't get EP1/EP2/TF2/Portal/L4D and any future HL3 etc. for free.

I'd say its a pretty darn good price for all you get IF you haven't already bought most of their stuff. I mean, you get Left 4 Dead which is going to retail for $45 plus the rest of their catalog. Quite an awesome deal.

I'll take it if it's still for grabs. Been stuck playing cs 1.6 for a while
