Quake 4 officially dated as a Xbox 360 launch title

TeamXbox (http://www.teamxbox.com/) has confirmed word (http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/9732/QUAKE-4-Dated/) that Quake 4 will ship as a launch title for the Xbox 360.

The new addition to the renowned QUAKE franchise is set to ship out for Xbox 360 on Nov. 18 in the U.S, and additionally will be available at retail outlets day-and-date with Xbox 360 system launch in Europe. QUAKE 4 is rated “M” (Mature) by the ESRB.
The game played very well on the 360 during my hands-on preview of it back in September.

Same here. I have preordered, Kameo (have it now), Condemned, CoD2, Gun, King Kong, Madden, NBA 2k6, PD0Z, Quake 4, Ridge Racer 6 & DOA 4 (pushed back). I had Oblivion until it was shoved back until Feb-March. I may switch Ridge Rcaer for PGR3, but I like the more arcadey feel to my racing games. NFS is a lot like that too.

Whenever i get 360, Quake 4 is on my top list. I still enjoy playing Quake 1 and Quake II from time to time, not to mention the dc version of Quake III. So i really look forward to it, on 360. Nba2k6, i wont be buying tho, nba2k5 on xbox is the last one i plan on buying.
