IGN has posted a review (http://pc.ign.com/articles/929/929352p1.html) of Ascaron Entertainment's new action-RPG, Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. It received an overall score of 7.5/10. As far as Diablo-style hack-and-slash action-RPGs go, Ascaron Entertainment's Sacred 2 is the best genre entry since Titan Quest. It offers a huge world to explore, tons of loot, plenty of monster types, and lots of ways to customize its six character classes. While it does have a quirky personality, it doesn't offer much as far as its narrative goes that's compelling, and the game suffers from numerous bugs and technical issues, including poor friendly AI, game crashes and performance problems, hopefully something that gets worked out over the coming months through patch updates. It's also not a game that tries anything truly novel, just a lot of tried-and-true quest, kill, loot, and repeat mechanics. You can find a couple of hotfixes along with the usual info and media at Sacred2.com (http://www.sacred2.com/landingpage/index_en.html).

My thoughts exactly. Once a price drop comes, this will be a really good co-op game. And hopefully by then, most of the issues will be ironed out.

Well it runs stable on my machine.

I love the many details and easter eggs in the game.

Only problem is they have a buggy online lobby system.

So far no game breaking bugs for me.

I think I'll wait for the DRM to be removed...

Looks like I'll never get Sacred Two ;)

I ordered the international version last month and have been playing it with my g/f almost every night. It's been solid on my machine, though it does have a few randomass bugs on her machine. Just updated her vid-drivers, so we'll see how it goes now.

Anyway, it's a solid hack 'n slash game. I'm enjoying it way more than Titan Quest, since Titan Quest didn't have a whole lot of questing to do, and seemed to be all about just upping passive skills. The graphics for S2 are fantastic for the genre, and the effects in the game are quite flashy, which I love. Oh, and the special mounts are pretty damn sweet looking.

I've been playing an Inquisitor, my g/f's gone through a Seraphim, Dryad, and now High Elf. Inquisitor+Clustering Maelstrom+giant crowd of mobs = awesome.
