Eurogamer (http://www.eurogamer.net) has the details (http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=61648).
Korea-based online gaming giant NCsoft is preparing to launch titles on next-generation consoles, according to chief executive Tack Jin Kim, who confirmed to GamesIndustry.biz that development work is already underway....sources close to NCsoft's European division revealed that Xbox 360 is not part of the company's plans at the moment, suggesting that the PS3 is the target platform for NCsoft's first console titles.
I've been impressed at NCsoft's consistency - here's hoping they can keep it up for the next generation consoles.

Guild Wars publisher, not creator.

I would say this is probably because they want to charge their own amount for monthly pay.

Exactly. PS3 has basically no system such as with the PC. Open to do what you want and charge what you want pure game. But I thought MS was still going to charge on MMOs. Probably not as highas the norm but still kinda like that Phantasy game they had.
NCsoft did not develop Guild Wars. ArenaNet did. NCSoft are the publisher. Very missleading title. If you insist it should be Lineag creator. Or Guild Wars Publisher.

Ya, these are the guys who made Lineage and Lineage II... Two of the worst MMO's to ever pop up during this big MMO craze. Ever try playing Lineage? It's like the original Diablo, but full of suck, complete with NO RUNNING. Lineage II is just a sad, sad rip-off of the big titles of it's day.
Really, I can only say that I enjoy City of Heroes as far as NCSoft goes... and that game has enough problems that it's just not worth it to play anymore. The PS3 can have'em...
Besides that, MMO's have been proven to consistently either suck, or become vaporeware on consoles. True Fantasy Online looked great, but even it couldn't get out of vaporeware, now claiming to be in development on other platforms.

People die over Lineage in Korea daily...well at least monthly. I've read so many weird stories surrounding it, it's highly competetive (but I agree, complete shit). And Lineage II, yea that's terrible, but it does have Elf panties.
How much would your mind be blown if they were developing for the Rev (of course that is extremely unlikely)?

Yeah, gotta admit, I never really got into Lineage. I got in on the free beta for Lineage II, play for about a week and realized I hadnt done ANYTHING yet. There is no real story, no real action, no real anything. Really on the whole it was a turd of a game. Dont get the Koreans obsession with it, other then the fact its home grown.
I do kinda find it funny that the title references GuildWar, like other people have said, which other then being published by NCSoft, has ZERO to do with them.
I also wonder if the game in question is Tabla Rosa, ex-Origons next MMRPG. Regardless, unless the other platform ships with a mic and a harddrive, or atleast a key, MMO games suck on consoles. I shocked a good one taking advantage of voice on XBox never surfaced ( RIP True Fantasy, you could have sold sooooo many consoles ).

That is half of it. The other half is that microsoft's console efforts have been very poor in NCSoft's core geographies.
I don't see the 360 doing significantly better in the Pacific than the xbox did, at least not with the current list of titles I see.

Has anyone considered they may be making a game for the Revolution? Think about it, mouse-like control, free Internet play...
Why not?!

NCSoft has made a lot of smart moves in the past, but this won't be one of them (if substantiated).

I'm wondering about Revolution MMOs as well.
It seems like the perfect platform for people who've been running mouse-based MMOs for some time.
