Well that's great news. I was wondering when we'd hear about the Experimentals expansion, but I guess this takes its place. Weird to see the publisher as Square Enix though.

Good stuff -- the game was great and the "surrender" series from Red vs Blue was a laugh although a bit short.

Weird to see the publisher as Square Enix though.I wonder if they're looking at the Korean market where Blizzard has sold a gazillion copies of their RTS titles.
I'm afraid of the system requirements of this. The first supcom was absolutely ridiculous when it came out for system requirements. (Of course, the fact that I was playing dual screen 2560x1024 might have to do with it). I remember Chris Taylor saying that the "true sequel" that he wants would have so many units that computers at the time couldn't play it in real time, and that it would take many years for that to happen.
I'm wondering if he cut back on his previous vision. (Which i'm fine with, more units are cool, but you can easily do more for less in an RTS).

I knew about this almost two months ago. But I didn't want to upset Chris Taylor by spilling the beans.

Just to clarify, I overheard him talking to someone about it at an event I attended, and he was all like "this is confidential but I can trust you" and all that. I was SO tempted to spill the beans right here on EvAv. But upsetting local game developers probably won't do any wonders for me ever getting into this industry.

And finally, I would like to add that I am very upset that he is not making Dungeon Siege III instead.

Well, we saw how well Space Siege went for them.
