Saw this over on http://xboxyde.com/. EA released 6 new shots of Tiger Woods 06 for the xbox 360. Looks like the AA is turned on and there are lots of spectators (to hit heheh) in this build. Grass looks particularly good as well.

Hope it looks even better in action. I skipped the XBox version this year, but I might have to pick this bad boy up for the X360.

huh. thought it would look more realistic. the colors and lighting just looks kinda...last generation to me. polygon counts are nice and everything, just doesn't look as good as i was expecting.

I'm going to wait and see what the new Links game looks like. Typically they lag behind Tiger Woods and then bust it's butt with some nicer looking technology. We'll see...

I just don't see what much else they could add to the Tiger Woods series. As someone who has owned a couple seasons, the game is just entirely too easy and until they make some serious changes to the gameplay itself, I just don't see myself buying another one.

Hey, Tiger woods might seem a LITTLE unrealistic with its huge drives, easy putting guides, and mindless iron accuracy.....but did anyone see Tiger hit a 378 yard drive this weekend?

Doesn't get more real than that!

Those drives are becoming more commonplace now. Scary.

Links is just as easy. I liked tiger for the nice selection of equipment manufacturers and the gameface user creation feature is top notch. Links just bored me to tears. I'll have to echo that Tiger was not the easiest game in the world..especially to us veterans. The most fun I've had with it was playing online in our Tiger league when '04 (ps2) came out. Those matches were HEATED. Then came the introduction of macro controllers and "pullers" (where they do a disconnect when they are about to lose) and I just became uninterested after that. I could keep pace for a while ...but the few times I didn't get that maximum red ball on drives and my opponent did...well it could be the deciding factor in a match.

Another reason I'm picking this version up is b/c of the redesign on the controller for the 360. Playing tiger on xbox was not much fun..because of the controller. The black and white buttons just suck.
