Soon-to-be-in-stores? Does anyone else remember when games actually came out on Tuesdays?

I've got a bunch of unfinished games on my plate yet, so I'm not really in a huge rush to add this one to it, but really.. When did Tuesday start meaning Wednesday or Thursday?

Edit: Just checked the avialability status at my BestBuy, and it's apparently currently in stock. In this area anyway. Though, was it actually available yesterday for the scheduled release date? I don't know.

According to my sensors, it switched over from gaming precisely when you showed up...

So that we rocketing back to the topic at hand, I can forgive the mistake in the first sentence. My question is, what does this Starmaker tool do and why would I want to add it to my studio? Not that I own the game or anything.

If you have the game you don't need to download this, as Starmaker comes with the game.

Starmaker allows you to create actors/actresses. You can modify their hair, facial features, etc... and then give them stats for their abilities to act in different genres, their mood, etc...

It's great early in the game - your studio gets a romance script but you have no off the street talent that is good in romances. Hop over to Starmaker, make a romance star, import her/him in, make your movie, it gets a much higher review score for the acting, and then either keep the star around or dump them.

That's a great idea, I'll have to try that when I get home. It's anoying enough that only like 4-5 people ever show up wanting to be actors or directors but finding ones with the right talent and looks is even harder.

After using it a bit... It's a different type of create a character tpye system but by no means great. Kinda sucks.

Hi, I just got the game today, and I am having a problem with the Starmaker. When I click on save, and then try to load the actor I just saved, the load box looks black, with no names or pics in it. However, when I go into the game, I can import the actor I've created, but it only shows them as a shadow person, not the way I created them to look. Anyone else experiencing this? Any advice? Thanks...

You have to have a good 3dfx card and drivers for this little game it's crazy. You should shoot over to the movie forums. Thier community is very helpful with that stuff.
