XP Games - A Windows XP Freeware Game Guide (http://mywebpages.comcast.net/SupportCD/XPGames.html)

There are thousands of games available for Windows XP. All the well known titles cost money to own. This guide covers the better Freeware games from Independent Developers and Commercial Publishers. The following games are 100% free full games, not Demos or Shareware. None have any Adware or Spyware. Every game listed has been installed and tested for basic compatibility with Windows XP. Most of the Games will work on Windows 2000 and older versions of Windows just check the requirements. This is not intended to be an all inclusive Guide but a reference to target the better Freeware titles. Hopefully this will provide you with some good entertainment without ever having to spend a dime.

What about I've Found Her (http://ifh.firstones.com/), the free Babylon 5 game? Plus the little free games at Experimental Gameplay (http://www.experimentalgameplay.com/).

Documenting every free game for XP is a huge task, though it's nice to see someone try to bring it all together.

It is not a comprehensive list.

Sweeeeeet.

EDIT: While we're on the topic of freeware, I would like to recommend 5 Days a Stranger, and its sequel, 7 Days a Skeptic. Both are puzzle based horror-games, not unlike The Secret of Monkey Island and other Lucas Arts games. Both are great games, not difficult to beat, and pretty creepy.
