Lead Pursuit sends along word that they have released the HiTilesAF terrain expansion pack (http://www.hitiles.com) for the new flight combat sim, Falcon 4.0: Allied Force.

Lead Pursuit LLC is delighted to announce the first official add-on pack for Falcon 4.0: Allied Force. HiTilesAF adds photo realistic scenery to the award-winning F-16 combat flight simulator.

Independently produced under license by Tom Waelti, HiTilesAF offers a complete replacement of the generic Balkans and Korean battlefields with enhanced terrain textures and a season switcher. HiTilesAF includes over 1600 seamless terrain textures, all based on real world aerial imaging research. The season utility included offers the chance to switch between spring, summer, fall and winter textures and apply them individually to one -- or both -- battlefields.

The reason I ended up getting a 20.1 LCD iover the DELL 24 Widescreen which looks freaking amazing. I still play games that don't support widescreen.

The vertical size is about the same on 20.1 and 24.

Oh well.

Same, only a few titles have widescreen out of the box. But this comming generation of consoles will change that I think. Well my moniter can do 720p So I'm cool.

What game have you playing since 1998. For me it's this one. The manual 719 pages
time it took just to be able to land the aircraft. About one year of practice. Flight sims are not for the faint hearted. LP has done a great job with this. Looking forward to actually flying a campaign this year. Well by 06 for sure!

You know the dell 24" DOES have fantastic aspect ratio selection, right? I love mine.

They should give it up and make a Falcon 5.0 ;) Or at least a Falcon 4.5.2.6.7.31.74.7.3.54.8.0.354.7.2.45.4574.3.7365. 457.3. Oh wait.. that's what they are doing.

Not likely were going to see a new ground up like Falcon for some time. It's a niche market some folks at XSI are working on something as grand as Falcon but It's gonna be awhile before we see anyhing from them.
