You don't, near as I can tell. What does it matter? Just make sure you uncheck all the options so iTunes doesn't have any file associations with it, and ignore it.

I'm really surprised they actually showed King Kong so early in the promotion of this movie. I would have thought they'd want to build up some kind of anticipation.

M'eh... screw the anticipation... we KNOW Kong is a giant ape, might as well get him out there earlier rather than later so we can see how cool it's going to be.
As for my own opinion, I firmly believe Kong will be neck and neck with Serenity for my favorite movie of 2005.
I love the scene where Ann has to choose between the dinosaur and Kong. There's a little moment where she acknowledges Kong as her protector and you can see his recognition of it in his eyes.
Also, when he jumps up from the ESB to bitchslap the plane. Nice.

I'm looking forward to this, but the special effects kinda bother me. It is really obvious to me that they are CGI. They just scream fake.

Holy monkey crap (pun intended) ....that just looks awesome.
I agree on the special effects, but I wonder if that's done on purpose.

Thats my favorite part int he trailer, the way Kong looks down at her and takes it as hes her protector now. Great attention to detail there.

So you are telling me that a giant fucking ape is supposed to be real?

I think everyone will agree with me when I say that King Kong fighting a Tyrannosaurus Rex is just about the coolest thing ever.
I quietly root for the T. Rex...

No, that's not what I said at all. Of course a giant ape isn't real, just as the dinos in Jurassic Park weren't real. They still looked REAL when the movie came out though. Hell the dinos in this don't really look much better, but then again I'm not comparing them side by side.
Let me make this comparison:
In the Lord of the Rings, which was done by the same effects shop, the creatures were obviously not real, but they LOOKED real. I know Orcs don't exist, but I could believe that they did while watching that movie. A few things, like the troll that attacks Frodo and company in Moria, looked bad, but most of the creatures looked excellent.
This movie doesn't have that same effect.
I'm still excited about it, but I wish that the creatures blended in more with the rest of the world. The way it is done now almost has a Who Framed Roger Rabbit look to it, where the creatures don't blend in with their surroundings. In that movie it was done on purpose (duh), and here it may have been as well, but it isn't as obvious as WFRR (again duh), and to me it just doesn't look right.
I really don't know how to explain this any better.

I'd agree with you on the quality if I had just watched the Teaser video. However, the High Definition Trailer 7 has far, far better special effects. That T-Rex, even if it's scientifically inaccurate, looks so believable.

I spend all that money on a 24" widescreen lcd.
And i can't even run the 720p and 1080p videos smoothly.

Magnanimous Gnome, I know what you mean. And I can see it in alot of areas. But if you notices others shots look incredible and mesh very well. But Peter Jackson also stated they are still working on the post effects for this film even thought December is creeping up soon. The new model of Kong you was just implemented not too long ago. The lighting and alot of the model tracing is still being worked on from what I read. This was the same case with the LOTR films.
Not to mention the newly remade film soundtrack O_O

I dont know what the problem is, I was able to play these HD apple files without a problem. Seems the latest versions of QT became such resource hogs or something.
They recently redid the graphics on Kong, maybe the teaser had an older version.

I didn't realize that they were changing so much so late in the game. They better hurry up if they want to make release.
I watched the full trailer btw, not the teaser. ;)

Yeah, unfortunately Quicktime has entered the (non)hallowed ranks of bloatware.
