1Up is reporting (http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3170795) that the ESRB has let slip two new PSN titles. While Street Fighter Alpha is already out, Alpha 2 and 3 have just been given ratings.

Street Fighter Alpha made it to PlayStation Network recently after eight months of waiting. Now it's time to start marking our calendars as we wait for both Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Street Fighter Alpha 3.

Siliconera is reporting that the ESRB has rated both Street Fighter Alpha 2 and 3, widely regarded as two of the best sprite-based fighters ever released, for the PlayStation 3. Unfortunately, if Suikoden and Street Fighter Alpha are any guide, you might not be tossing those hadoukens anytime soon.

So when can we expect the final two Alpha games? Well, it wouldn't be surprising if Capcom decided to try and drum up some more interest in Street Fighter 4 or Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix a month or so before their release. Until then, you can always dig up the old PlayStation discs. Or even better, the Sega Saturn versions.

I think the ESRB has to stop publishing this information until a game is officially announced or released.

I think companies should stop treating digital content as surprise gifts to gamers. It's not as if the next Batman movie is suddenly going to come out this weekend.
