Magna Carta: Tears of Blood is a role-playing game, developed by Softmax, set in Efferia, a continent populated with five races. In this world, you can use seven different types of Carta and meet a host of characters.

600 years ago, a strange disease spread across the land, turning its victims into stone. A war ensued, raging for several hundred years and continuing to this day. Tired of the fighting, one group set sail in hopes of finding a new place to live. After countless weeks at sea, the four boats landed on the continent of Efferia. The immigrants saw that the land had been blessed by nature, and so they decided to settle there and begin a new life—a fresh start for those who had lost faith in humanity.

Why can there not be a good RPG released that has character designs that are just the least bit realistic? What the hell is going on with this bikini-pageant crap? It can't be a selling point, it rather makes me not give a damn about the game.

Oh well, I'm sure there's quite a market for RPGs where the main point is to stare at oversized breasts.

For others, there's DDO :D.

It's kinda ugly in a way.

The concept art is nice, but they don't make a game. These characters are too scrutinized to be fighting any monsters.

Hell, you guys pretend to be PC all you want. I honestly don't mind a game where there are unrealistically hot women in skimpy clothing. Then again, maybe I have a lil Japanese blood in me too, as they seem to eat that sort of thing up *shrugs*. If the gameplay is good, I think I may snag this one.

"* Unique real-time battle system allows you to position yourself anywhere on the battlefield!"

Wow! You can move!

Why name a fantasy game with a real event? Will we get a Treaty of Versailles game with elves and anime witches?

I like the art style, other than the characters. As for the game itself... it seems like another basic RPG with cheap gimmicks that probably wont play well.

Not only that, but a really unimpressive event at that; "We, the rich land owner demand the rights that we always had in practice, but we want them on paper now too. This way, we can more effectively screw the little guy along with the king."
