Videogamer.com (http://www.videogamer.com) brings us an interview with lead designer Brent Knowles where he lets slip about a version of upcoming BioWare title Dragon Age Origins that will head to consoles. The game is set to be the spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate.
Speaking in an interview to be published at a later date, lead designer Brent Knowles confirmed that the spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate will come out on the Xbox 360 and the PS3 after the PC version, slated for an early 2009 release, but he couldn't confirm exactly how long after.
Earlier today it was revealed that the November issue of US mag Game Informer will include an "exclusive first look at the console editions" of Dragon Age Origins. When we asked Knowles about this this afternoon, he said: "Yes it will show up on the consoles after the PC release at some point."
Pushed on when the game will come out on consoles, Knowles added: "I can't speak to the time frame."
