I'm becoming very tempted to buy this locally and just pay tax on it. I have it preordered at Amazon, but I've heard terrible things about preordering from them. Right now it says it'll ship on 10/24.

Pft. Rock Band 2. In Australia we're getting Rock Band 1 in November! Take THAT!

Next week I'm doing an interview with one of the programmers of the Wii version of RB2. I'll post the link here when it's done.
In the meantime check out my past shows. Feel free to email me what questions I should ask him (Dan Kramer).

If you are doing an interview I would be interested to know how they intend to work out the limited storage problem on Wii. Will there be any DLC at all?

Yeah I know for sure that DLC is happening. It's part of the reason why it got delayed.

Are all the instruments compatible between RB2 and GHWT on the wii version?

The Rock Band 2 Special Edition set for PS3 was on sale at 3 Toys R Us stores I went to yesterday. I saw a couple people pick it up since Dead Space and SOCOM didn't show up in the shipments. They wouldn't break street date for LBP, though. :(

While I don't like to lose a fight, you got me on the price point due to our crashing dollar! Three months ago, it would've cost over $400US! Now it's not worth $274US when it's out. :(
You win this time, AlwaysOn222!
