Tiger Woods 360 Preview

IGN has a short (http://sports.ign.com/articles/663/663469p1.html) preview up regarding the 360 version of Tiger Woods 06'.

...in one of the more clever and entertaining additions to the Tiger Woods series, not only are there thousands of fans lining the course (up to 5,000 fans per hole on the bigger courses), but you can hit them with the ball. Hit someone in the head and he might fall face down in the grass. Hit someone in the foot and they hop around. Hit someone in the balls and it's like America's Funniest Home Videos as the poor polygon hunches over at the pain of his bruised family jewels. It's almost distracting because you see the hole, but at the same time, you want to see some of the new pain animations of the 3D crowd, so you turn around and take a whack and see what happens. Funny thing is, when you're aiming at the crowd, they know it and they start to wave their hands like "Please, I want to have children one day!" But with the help of my 9-iron, those dreams are dead as I smack a low liner into his nuts. They could almost make a mini-game out of hitting these poor people who pay the price for watching the match. It's that fun.
Sounds like hours of entertainment right there.

Completely pointless feature, but adds to the realism of the game. Cool idea.

Give gamers the freedom to interact with their environment and someone's getting a shot to the nuts. It's a written law, I think.

Can you scream at your caddy when you make a bad shot? Can you throw your clubs in the water hazzard? Can you bend your 5 iron over your knee?

WOW! I can see how much more powerful the is 360 compared to the xbox! No way could EA have made characters hop around on one foot with xbox's old technology! Especially with all the action going on on the course! I mean Tiger Woods 2005 would render a whole person! Crazy game mechanics there! Then this PERSON would swing golf clubs and dance, but NEVER would it hop on ONE foot, or grab its pebbles for that matter! WOW EA! You've amazed me again! Way to show off the true power behind the system, you're not like other companies hashing out identical sport games year after year adding meager fetures like beating up the crowd....

For those just tuning in:
If games ever died and went to hell, they'd end up at EA, and Satan... I mean EA would pull the game's strings, releasing the tired old game every year for eternity.
