The site is very "pretty" but also annoying to navigate. I don't want to play some text adventure to get to the gameplay films. There's not even a skip intro button.
Maybe I'm just easily annoyed.

The game comes out November 7th? How does that make sense?

There's actually a few games coming out early. I know there's a bunch planned for the week of the 15th.

That site sucks ass... And pre-console launch game releases are nothing new.

I heard the 360 came out in 1996, but microsoft stoled it and made the original XBox first.

it's retarded to have the game out a couple weeks before. you can't do anything with it. let them test it for 2 more weeks or add some colors to the menu or add 300-player multiplayer with that extra time.
but i bet 99% of the early dates we see are false and games won't start showing up to stores til the week before the system is launched. and even then, most stores will hold them until the 22nd. even best buy's new preorder cards are fixed and say nov. 22 for all the games. even though they'll come in a couple days before so they are on the shelf that morning.

So if 99% of the early dates don't make it (but show up in stores before the system is launched = you still can't do anything with them, but is still available before the console).. what's the problem?
Secondly... nothing wrong with early games. Would you rather have a console before any games? Better to stock up for games early so when people buy their box, they can grab some fun while they're at it. Otherwise, maybe the games wouldn't make it to stores on time.
About more development time, they probably got the game how they wanted it early, instead of not getting done what they wanted like most games. Regardless, games are probably going to need a patch anyways.. so new features will come with that

Nothing wrong with an early release for games. That'd give me time to actually sit down and resd the manual instead of throwing it and the rest of the packaging in the corner as soon as I get home.
Also, if you were particualy interested about picking up any of those games you might be able to avoid the rush/risk of it being sold out.

I wouldn't worry about this game needing more dev time, it's been in the works for what, 7 years now?

Well, since I get my 360 before launch, I need to get my games before launch. Plus, it's much easier to pick up a game before launch than trying to grab one with the already hectic battle for the console.
