From the "hip-hop doesn't translate to games well" department comes news from Eurogamer. (http://www.eurogamer.net)

It looks like Quincy Delight Jones III, alias QD3, is putting his full support behind newly announced game "Scratch: The Ultimate DJ".

The game is due out next spring, but no tracks have been mentioned - although we're promised "top urban artists".

Quincy Delight Jones III himself has over 20 years of experience in the industry, and has worked with the likes of Tupac, LL Cool J and Ice Cube.

"With the recent success of music-driven videogames and the dominance of urban culture in the youth market, the potential for Scratch is endless," said Quincy Delight Jones III.

Not much else over here. (http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=254669)

That's quite a headline! I couldn't figure out why someone was supporting the scratching of game discs... ;)

Wait, you mean I read the headline wrong and this is not a game about scratching backs?! Rats! But seriously, in a game of this type you would think the tracks would be the most important bit of information they need to put out there, mentioning people Quincy Jones worked with in the past and then promising "top urban artists" doesn't really strike me as exactly promising.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to just get the actual equipment?

Yeah, but then you'd need to somehow rig it to work with the game :p
