Alien Arena available

The guys from COR Entertainment have released Alien Arena (http://www.planetquake.com/cor/codered/) today, a free online deathmatch FPS game based on the Quake 3 engine.

Alien Arena 2006 has been released by COR Entertainment! Also available is an optional "Nightmare Bots" patch, which adds a fourth skill level to the bots, and is guaranteed to make even the best players sweat it out!

Are they using the GPL'ed Quake3 engine or did they actually license the engine? If it's the first option (which I think it is), where is the source download on their website?

Free?! Holy crap, you just opened Pandora's box. Pretty soon we're gonna have a ton of posts with people complaining about this. Just you wait and see.

I cannot believe these bloom effects are free...
