New NBA 2K6 trailer [Archive]

Over at Xboxyde (http://www.xboxyde.com/news_2218_en.html) they've got the latest trailer for 2K sports baby. If you checked out the previous trailer, or the cam video posted they had posted and then had to pull, the faces have been fixed and are much more detailed now.

2K Games released this short trailer of the Xbox 360-version of NBA 2K6. Looks great, and I myself cry every night when I think of how NHL 2K6 looks compared to this. But seriously - what's up with the sweat already? It seems to be more and more for every new trailer!

It's pretty impressive how the clothes and eyes move. The animations are great. It's only a 30 second clip, but definitely worth the download.

They need more polys on the cheerleaders, though. =)

Yeah, man ... Live is becoming like an "And 1" mixtape. In a real b-ball game, you might only see a small handfull of dunks. You get a lot of turnovers, jumpers, etc.

I don't mind a fast paced game of run and gun ball ... but don't advertise your game as being "real" then turn around and give us an arcadey mess

video games such as NBA are fun and good for a quick bit of entertainment. But nothing beats a good old game of real basketball.

Then again, most of us can't be the 7ft giants in the games can we?

Amazing! ... Damn I wish 2ksports could do a new Football game. Visual concepts are great developers....

I will buy this game for the immersion , looks totally awesome.

BTW, NHL2k6 is a sure buy to, I just love NHL 2k6

Every time I hear 2k it just opens a closed wound of the greatness of 2k football. It hurts me deeply.

Great.. now let's only hope they implement this kind of tech into the new Splinter Cell game.
