Garry's Mod 9 has been released for Half-Life 2. The release focuses on LUA, a serverside scripting language that allows you to make entirely new gametypes, weapons, and quite literally anything else you can think of.

I want to check it out, the coop aspect interest me the most. Has anyone tried the previous revisions of this mod in coop?

I've played G-mod on LAN before. All we ended up doing was adding rockets to the bottom of plywood boards and such to see how high we could get the largest amount of people. It was very entertaining when our contraptions went horribly wrong.

I use to love it then it seemed to get too complicated... Ill give it another try, hopefully its not as buggy.

i never got into garry's mod before because i couldn't figure out most of it.. but now it's pretty damn easy because Q is used for practically everything.
