Hell. Yes. Buying it the moment I get home from work on Monday. Oh BTW, did you hear that Proto Man will be available as DLC (http://www.gamesradar.com/f/mega-man-9-proto-man-dlc-on-the-way/a-20080918175646958001) in October?
I love you Mega Man. :D

If your priorities are retarded. :)
It's amazing to see a company resurrecting an old property with a sense of irony. AMAZING.

I believe $10 is the reported price, whatever that works out to on the point system you're buying it on.

Straight from the Horse's mouth, I believe. Unless there's a deeper meaning that I'm not getting.

Well, theres really nothing stopping you from getting both, but I'll be getting it on Wii on Monday. Then I'll be getting Wipeout on Thursday.

Eh, I budget myself. I'll probably just grab WipEout on Thursday then get MM9 on the Wii in a couple of weeks.

IGN's review: 8.6 (http://ps3.ign.com/articles/911/911743p1.html)
Mega Man 9 is exactly what hardcore gamers were hoping it would be, as Capcom has come out of the gate with a game that's full of nostalgia and fan-service, but also one that truly does rival the best in the franchise's 8-bit roots. If you look at this game as a time warp into the NES era, it's one of the top titles out there, as it's hard as hell, somehow fresh in design (even though there have been well over 100 Mega Man games in 15 years), and simply a blast to rip through. If you weigh this one against other download titles out there though, the game will of course fall short in the graphical department (maybe the only game out there where a low graphics score is a compliment?), the lack of innovation overall, or a lot of the modes or options you'd expect to get for your money. With that being said, Capcom did got the extra mile with online rankings, downloadable content, and a few extra areas to check out (time trials could last players a long, long time), and it makes Mega Man 9 a no-brainer download if you've got $10 to spare across any console.

I Give myself less then a total of 9 Hours to beat the game once I actively sit down to play it. I got through the original Mega Man playing it from Scratch in 6.
Gods....An actual difficult game. *Sniffs* The Nostalgia...the Music...the difficulty...memories...sweet sweet memories.
This just means I am going to have to dust off my entire NES original Cartridge collection of Mega Man 1-6, X through X3, and then onto the PS version to 8....Megaman 7....etc...
Curse you Capcom...and yet...Thank you, for being honest and faithful to the Megaman Loyalists out there

I didn't follow anything at all about this game, it is a remake of some old Mega Man game or a new story/game??
Also what is the difference between the Wii version and PS3?360 versions?? Besides the release date?

Just pick it up there. It'll be fun to talk to guys trying to get the achievements on the 360 version. :)
That's where I'm getting MM9 as well, the only issue is that my Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection USB Adapter is refusing to activate.

Completely new Mega Man game done in 8-bit NES style. Even comes with (optional) NES glitches like flickering frames and slowdown. Yummy retro goodness.
No idea what differences there are if any. I'll be buying on the Wii on Monday afternoon. :D

...that doesn't make sense. You're spending the same amount of money either way, you just FEEL more responsible by waiting.

Yeah, I'll be getting MM9 on the 360 as well. I should be finished with Blue Dragon and Condemned 2 by then. :)

Oh, I know, it's totally a psychological thing. My game time is limited enough, though, that I really don't see the point in buying both when I'd only have the time at the moment to play one. It's not like either are going anywhere.

The video review on IGN (http://wii.ign.com/dor/objects/14260822/mega-man-9/videos/megaman9_vidrev_091908.html) has in-game footage that just looks amazing. C'mon, Monday!
...Wait, WTF did I just say? Mega Man, what have you done to me?

I heard that to feel the full Megaman 9 experience you need to hook the console up via RF-Cable.
